Africa Animal Welfare Conference

International networking for animal welfare in Africa

Since 2017, experts from science, politics, business and civil society have been meeting annually to discuss current issues relating to animal welfare in the context of sustainable development on the African continent. The Africa Animal Welfare Conference (AAWC) is organized by ANAW in cooperation with UNEP and AU-IBAR.

The WTS has been a partner of the Africa Animal Welfare Conference since 2020.
